Hello, and welcome to the CereScan blog. This will be a place where you can find reviews and discussions about the latest research on a variety of topics within cognitive neuroscience, psychiatric disorders and neurodegenerative disorders. We will cover topics in methods of diagnoses and imaging modalities, and diseases such as Alzheimer’s, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, OCD, autism, depression, bipolar disorder, and stroke to name a few. When interesting and pertinent research in cognition arises, we aim to cover that as well.
Our goal is inform and enlighten patients, family members, caregivers, doctors and other medical professionals by discussing the latest research in these fields and new ways that brain conditions are diagnosed and treated. Our hope is to stimulate discussion and to help educate the public, medical community and media about brain research and the role that CereScan plays in this framework.
We would appreciate your comments and feedback on future articles. If you have a situation that you are struggling with or an uplifting success story we’d like to hear about that too.
