Our cameras are the latest available, new SPECT gamma cameras from leading manufacturers like Siemens Medical Systems. Our cameras give the best image quality available today and use an open, non-claustrophobic configuration for enhanced patient comfort.
  • Specialized brain imaging and reconstruction software. We use three different software packages that are specifically developed for functional brain imaging. These softwares are available only in a few facilities in the United States and results in the most accurate image interpretation possible.
  • Quantified findings. Using our specialized software allows our doctors to directly correlate regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) in each region of your patient’s brain with age and sex-delineated normal databases using a process known as statistical parametric analysis. This provides valid quantified results to ensure consistent interpretations.
  • Extensive patient database. CereScan’s proprietary database of more than 2200 previously scanned patients provides our doctors thousands of images of patients who have previously received SPECT brain scans. This gives our doctors an extensive library of brain scans for reference and research purposes.
  • Specially trained, board certified physicians. Our neuropsychiatric reports are co-read by both nuclear medicine physicians and psychiatrists who have extensive training in functional brain imaging. You can be assured that their qualifications are unsurpassed.
